Allison McLaughlin is a Process Engineer at Exyte based in Albany in the US. She is responsible for designing the critical source and distribution systems for chemicals, gases, water, and waste in the facilities the company designs and builds. Her role is vital in projects, as these systems directly interact with the tools and machines that manufacture semiconductors.

A process engineer requires a deep understanding of both the technical specifications of the tools and the unique needs of each client. “All of these systems are integral to the tools in the facility,” Allison explains. “While we support other equipment, our primary focus is on ensuring the tools that produce semiconductors operate efficiently. That’s why diligence in our designs is absolutely critical.”

McLaughlin came to Exyte as a new graduate, bringing her fresh talents into project teams.
